JS seems more excited over the ear warmers and mittens. He describes them as 'cool'. They were easy to make and I will probably make more as I expect them to be misplaced quite soon! I hadn't a clue how the ear warmers work out with the helmet when I saw the pattern initially. more info here Such a simple design and yet will keep the ears so warm.

I just started a sock in the car this morning. Can't wait to see which yarn you'll start with. I have something similar to the top left but in different colours, I think.
haha, got so entranced by the sock yarns that I forgot to say that your FOs look very light and fluffy. I have a pair of wrist warmers in the same cleckheaton yarn country yarn - would you believe I use it in the office when the air-conditioning is trying to freeze me?
